Corporate chain restaurants are predictable and often exactly what you want, but I do my best to find the small businesses; the ones with a bit more originality and personality.

Buenos Dias on Chickamauga Ave is a little cafe I’ve been meaning to try (more info further down). A fun part of thinking more local is trying new businesses, and is a lot less stressful / more enjoyable than getting in the mix of local politics.

Is there a small cafe or restaurant you love that people need to try? As a Tennesseean, I’m down there far less than I like— so your input is helpful.

Thanks for reading and happy spring!
